Counseling Services

Counseling creates the opportunity for a new perspective, insight, and solutions in an environment of support and encouragement for the problems confronting you. No person should struggle alone without giving counseling a chance since it should not worsen the situation but help promote healing and improvement if treatment plans are observed and completed.

Individual Counseling

The counselor meets one-on-one with an adult or teen client for intervention on presenting problems specific to the individual client. Commonly presented issues include stress, anxiety, depression, loss/grief, separation and divorce, trauma, anger management, addiction, adjustment difficulties, and other issues.

Couples Or Marriage Counseling

The counselor engages with couples or partners in a neutral environment to help them resolve conflicts, communicate better, and strengthen relationships. Common issues include conflicts or disagreements, infidelity, parenting, blended families and in-laws, finances, and other crises that cause problems and strain marriages.

Family Therapy

The counselor meets with the entire family (parents, children, blended families) for family therapy using specialized skills and training. The counselor operates with the understanding that what affects one affects all since the family is a unit.

Christian Counseling

The counselor incorporates Scriptural approaches with modern psychotherapy in the intervention for clients who want to embody faith and beliefs in their therapy.

Premarital Counseling

The counselor meets with partners wishing to tie the knot to help them prepare, lay a solid foundation, and increase their likelihood of a successful marriage. Issues covered usually include but are not limited to expectations in marriage, individual/family differences, sex, intimacy, children, finances, friendships, in-laws, career, debts, addiction, and other sensitive issues that may come up later and cause a severe rift if kept secretive from the other partner.
